Mehdi Souissi leads Ospitek's Network Engineering Design and Operations. He is responsible for the design, commissioning and optimization of the patient tracking network system in both hospitals and surgery centers.
Prior to joining Ospitek, Mr. Souissi worked as principle RF engineer with Sprint and then was an RF consultant providing technical expertise to various, high profile, network operators and vendors including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Lucent, Samsung and Cricket.
During his time consulting for Cricket, Mehdi led the design and post-launch optimization of the greenfield build out of the Cricket network, both in Portland and Chicago. Mehdi was also responsible for the development of a new module tuning technique to improve the accuracy of the predicted signal level during the design phase. On all past consulting projects, Mr. Souissi led RF engineering teams to delivery quality indoor and outdoor designs based on internal and external customer requirements and has extensive experience overseeing large scale projects including international airports, NFL stadiums and Basketball arenas.
Mr. Souissi studied Physics and Chemistry and the University of Tunisia and went on to obtain his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
